THE AFL PLAYERS’ Association has named its 22Under22 squad for 2022, with four young Demons included.

Luke Jackson, James Jordon, Harrison Petty and Kysaiah Pickett have all been recognised for their outstanding individual campaigns, making them eligible for the team which will be announced on August 23.

Presented by Snaffle, the squad of 40 players will be slashed down to a side of 22, with fans able to cast their vote between August 10 and August 17.

Pickett and Jackson will be looking to make the team for a second consecutive season, while Petty, who was in the squad last year, will be pushing for his first call-up to the final 22.

After moving to the wing in 2022, Jordon hasn’t missed a game for the Demons, averaging 21 disposals per outing to earn himself his first call up to the squad.

The Dees are one of just four sides to have four or more nominees this season.
