FOLLOWING a Round 15 victory, Melbourne now boasts two players inside the top six on the AFLCA MVP leaderboard.
Clayton Oliver and Christian Petracca polled five votes apiece against the Lions last Thursday, seeing them solidify their spots among the best in the league.
Oliver’s performance takes him 11 votes clear of Lachie Neale in second place, as he looks to claim back-to-back AFLCA MVP Awards after last year’s triumph.
Andrew Brayshaw, Patrick Cripps and Touk Miller round out the top five with just eight games to be played in 2022, with Petracca sitting sixth on 55 votes, 21 behind his leading teammate.
Jack Viney walked away with maximum votes from last week’s clash at the MCG, while Jake Lever was deemed second best by both coaches.
Rounding out the individual recognition from the 64-point win were young guns James Jordon and Luke Jackson.
