CASEY has put forward a well-balanced side for its Sunday clash with the in-form Southern Saints.
The Demons will be looking to remain at the top of the VFLW ladder after six rounds and have named a bolstered line-up to help them do so.
After overpowering Geelong in the final term two weeks ago, Casey has another chance to stamp itself as the team to beat in the VFLW this season when it faces the Southern Saints.
The Saints managed to draw with Essendon in Round 5, but the Demons’ side is full of depth ahead of their crunch clash.
Casey has brought in AFLW-listed midfielders Maddi Gay and Eliza West to power the engine room, while more AFLW-listed talent comes in with ruck Tahlia Gillard and defender Sarah Lampard being named as inclusions, alongside Eloise O’Connor and Shree Fairchild.
The six inclusions mean Stephanie Rummel, Chelsie Selleck, Amy Laing, Zoe Mitchell, Brooke Borchard and Monica Harasimiuk all make way for the game, with the latter two being named as emergencies.
