The rebel Victorian Football League Women’s (VFLW) fixture has been confirmed from Round Six, which is this coming weekend, through to Round 12.
Round Six comes off the back of a competition bye and gets underway with three matches on Saturday 26 March, starting with in-form Hawthorn (third, 4-1) taking on North Melbourne (ninth, 1-4) at Trevor Barker Beach Oval in Sandringham at 10:00 am.
At midday, Carlton (10th, 1-4) host Collingwood (sixth, 3-2) at IKON Park, before the second match at Trevor Barker Beach Oval on Saturday takes place when Williamstown and Port Melbourne, both 1-4, go head-to-head.
On Sunday 27 March, unbeaten top side Casey Demons (5-0) host the Southern Saints (fourth, 3-1-1) who are coming off a gallant draw with previously unbeaten Essendon. The Demons-Saints clash, which starts at 10:05 am, is part of a double-header with the VFL, with the men’s match (Casey Demons v Sandringham) to follow at 1:05 pm.
Western Bulldogs will be looking for their first win when Darebin (seventh, 3-2 and coming off two strong wins) travels to VU Whitten Oval for an 11:00 am opening bounce, then Round Six concludes when Geelong (fifth, 3-2) welcome Essendon (second, four wins and a draw) to Deakin University in Waurn Ponds at 1:00 pm.
