HELL Yeah, footy's back at Casey Fields this Saturday!

Alongside the on-field action between Melbourne and St Kilda, there's plenty of reasons to get to our first home game of 2022.

Here's what you can expect at Casey Fields, as we celebrate the 2022 AFLW Pride Round.

Arrive early

Gates will open at 2.00pm and fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid parking traffic and to secure a prime spot on the grass. 

Parking is available in the Casey Fields precinct, while you can also catch a bus to the ground from Cranbourne Station. Check the PTV Journey Planner to map out your trip.

Don't forget to bring a picnic rug or fold-up chair to enjoy the game in comfort.

Hertz Family Zone

Catering to all ages, the Hertz Family Zone will be set-up on the north-east side of the ground.

Junior fans will be able to take on a range of hands on activities, including obstacle walls, handball and kicking targets, plus much more set up by AFL Victoria Little Sport Heroes.

For those who are a little younger, you can head to the Playgroup Victoria pop-up, with sensory activities, art/drawing stations, and story books all available.

To get into the Demon spirit, don't forget to also visit the face paint stand and show your love of the red and blue.

Pop-up zones and giveaways

Red Bull and Chemist Warehouse will both set-up with special zones on the eastern side of the ground.

Red Bull will have umbrellas and giveaways around the ground.

Chemist Warehouse will also have product giveaways, and space to cool down with umbrellas, deck chairs, and a misting tent.

Food and beverage

Food trucks will be set up on the northern side of the ground near the big screen, with options including fish and chips, burgers, ice cream, and coffee.

The canteen will also be open in the main grandstand. 

Further around the ground, Furphy will have a pop-up bar space.

Staying COVID-safe

What you can expect at AFLW venues

  • Please wear your mask where physical distancing is not possible
  • Water fountains will not be in use at most venues. Where they are in operation, they will be cleaned and sanitised regularly. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own water bottles
  • The venues are cashless, meaning only contactless payments can be used for purchases of food, beverages and merchandise.
  • The event ticketing system supports contact tracing.
  • Some activations, such as player autographs, will be paused to ensure social distancing requirements are met.
  • Increased cleaning and disinfecting of all surface areas and frequented spaces

How you can help

  • Plan to arrive early at games where possible, to avoid crowds at entry points close to match start times
  • Practise good hygiene and regularly and thoroughly wash your hands
  • Maintain physical distancing, keep at least 1.5 metres away from others
  • Carry a face mask when you leave home unless you have a lawful reason not to. It is strongly recommended you wear one whenever you cannot keep 1.5 metres distance from others
  • If you are feeling unwell, please enjoy the game from the comfort of your home
  • Please follow relevant government health advice, and enjoy the game from home, if the following applies to you:
    - You are deemed a close contact
    - You are awaiting the result of a COVID test
    - You are completing a mandated isolation period during to a COVID positive result

You can also download the free state government apps to help check in to a COVID-Safe venue (where applicable).

Fans are encouraged to bring along a mask for situations where they cannot distance from others. 

Fans are also encouraged to arrive early and allow plenty of time to get to their zone and avoid crowd congestion at the gates.

Increased cleaning and sanitisation will be occurring around the ground, while hand sanitiser stations will be available in each zone.
