A handball-receive on the wing, a two-bounce run, a classy finish and a spectacular celebration.

That's what Alyssa Bannan delivered in the second quarter on Friday night, putting herself in the running for the 2022 Accor AFLW Goal of the Year Award.

The 19-year-old's stunning effort was one of three majors recognised in Round 2, with Monique Conti (Richmond) and Kate Surman (Gold Coast) also in the draw to be crowned best goal of the weekend.
