Season Overview:
Daw started his journey with Melbourne at the beginning of the year, with the club inviting him to join their training in the absence of injured Demons Ben Brown and Sam Weideman. After spending a number of weeks with the team, showing commitment to the club program, Daw was offered a spot on the rookie list in March as a Pre-Season Supplemental Selection.

The 30-year-old showed immense progression in his game and although he didn't make an appearance in Melbourne's AFL side, was a consistent performer at VFL level. He played eight games for the Casey Demons, spending time in the ruck, averaging 25.5 hit-outs. One of his stronger performances this year came in Casey's Round 13 win over Werribee with 34 hit-outs and 14 disposals.

At the end of the season, Daw was rewarded for his hard work with a new deal seeing him continue in the red and blue for 2022.
