Melbourne will take on Adelaide to kick off Gather Round on Thursday night at a sold-out Adelaide Oval. With Adelaide searching for their first win of the 2024 season, the home crowd is expected to be loud and hostile.

These two sides share quite the rivalry fuelled by narrow margins and upsets at their respective home turfs. The last time these two teams met in Round 19 last year at the 'G, Melbourne ended up on top by 4-points.




TICKETING

Fans are encouraged to get down to Adelaide Oval from 5:15pm (AECT), when gates open, before the first bounce at 7:10pm (AECT). 

Allocation Exhausted - This match is a fully ticketed event with no further tickets to be released.

Public Transport

Patrons are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the FREE Think! Road Safety Footy Express bus, train or tram services with your valid AFL game day ticket.
All regular Adelaide Metro weekend bus, train and tram services are also free with your AFL game day ticket from first to last service on game day.
Regular Adelaide Metro weeknight bus, train and tram services are free three hours before the game starts with your AFL game day ticket.

Parking 

- North Car Park (limited public and accessibility parking) – access via Pennington Terrace
- Oval #2 (permit and public parking) – access via Montefiore Road, southbound
- University Lane (public parking) – access via Pennington Terrace
- Torrens Parade Ground (public parking) – access via Victoria Drive
- East Car Park (permit parking only) – access via King William Road, northbound

Accessibility

Disability drop off and pick up zones for event days are located on:
War Memorial Drive, out the front of Next Gen Health Clubs and Tennis SA, adjacent to Pinky Flat. This drop-off zone must be accessed from the western side via Montefiore Road or Morphett Street Bridge (disability permit holders only).

King William Road, adjacent to the East Gate for north-bound traffic.

- War Memorial Drive: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
- King William Road: 9:20pm – 11:30pm (full closure for AO Express)
- Pennington Terrace: 9:20pm – 11:30pm
- North Terrace: 9:30pm – 11:30pm Victoria Street to King William Road
