Fitzsimon was selected by Melbourne with pick No. 35 in the 2020 Draft. Rotating through the middle and up forward, she is an explosive footballer who is often relied upon to play her role and ensure the transition between lines is executed perfectly. Playing in all 11 games in season 2024, Fitzsimon lifted to her most successful season yet. She averaged 13 disposals, 5.3 tackles, and two score involvements per game. For her efforts, she was rewarded at the end of the season by winning the ‘Demon Spirit Award’ at the Best and Fairest, which acknowledges the person who best displays club values.
