Niamh McEvoy joins Irish teammate Sinead Goldrick at Melbourne, crossing over from Gaelic Athletic Association side, Dublin. The natural athlete is embracing the challenge of Aussie Rules, and although there are no expectations on her to have an immediate impact for the Dees, she has put in plenty of work at training to get her skills up to scratch. McEvoy was an All-Star in Gaelic Football last year, proving to be one of the best players in the league and will look to transition smoothly into the AFLW.
