Maddi Gay became a Demon during the 2018 AFLW Trade Period after playing seven games with Carlton in her debut season. The former netballer is a natural midfielder who played every game for the Demons in 2019. While she spent a lot of last season playing up forward, Gay is ready to take the next step in 2020 and become one of the club’s most damaging players. Gay is classy by foot, balanced over the ball, and always attack the contest, so she could be a big improver this season.
