Marty Hore took the long road to the AFL, but it was worth the wait in the end.
The intercept defender was a mature aged recruit for the Demons, being selected with pick No.56 in the 2018 National Draft.
Coming from Collingwood’s VFL side where he won two best and fairest awards, Hore had no trouble finding his feet at AFL level.
Playing 14 games in his first season, Hore impressed with his ability to read the ball in the air and his incredible courage in defence.
The left footer is still a developing player and will be one to watch in the future.
