Oskar Baker’s AFL dream came true in 2019, as the speedster debuted against West Coast in Round 9.
The elite running midfielder was made to earn his call up after spending his whole first year in the VFL, and couldn’t have been more excited to finally be a part of the team.
Baker got a good taste of senior footy last season, playing nine games for the Demons and showing his flare on the wings of the MCG.
The popular youngster was drafted with pick No.48 in the 2017 National Draft, making the move down from Queensland.
While he had a setback with his groin at the start of pre-season, Baker will be looking to get fit and cement his spot in the side in 2020.
