Mitch Hannan will forever hold a special place in Melbourne fans’ hearts after his match-sealing goal against Geelong in the 2018 Elimination Final.
The left footer streamed down the MCC wing to give the Demons their first finals win in 12 years, creating an iconic moment in the club’s history.
Unfortunately, Hannan’s 2019 season never really got going, as the half-forward missed the first half of the year with a knee injury.
After returning in Round 11, Hannan managed six senior games, spending some time in the VFL throughout the latter stages of the season.
When at his best, Hannan is a dangerous forward due to his pace, leap and class with ball in hand, and will be looking to cement his spot in the best 22 next season.
