THREE new names will now be tied to the Melbourne Football Club for life, following Wednesday night’s 2020 National Draft.

On the back of an active Trade Period, the Demons were able to capitalise on two First Round Picks, walking away with some exciting young talent.

Take a look at what the club’s newest additions have to offer below.

Pick No.21 – Jake Bowey

Jake Bowey joins Melbourne with its first selection of the night, adding some outside flair to the club’s list.

The classy ball user from Sandringham Dragons is the son of former-Saint Brett Bowey and has the ability to play at half-forward, or push up onto the wing.

Despite standing at just 175cm, Bowey won't take a backwards step, getting involved on the inside and proving to be an exciting prospect for the Demons in the future.

Pick No.22 – Bailey Laurie

The Dees have used their second pick of the draft to secure the services of crafty 179cm forward Bailey Laurie.

Coming from the Oakleigh Chargers, Laurie possesses lightning speed, silky skills and an ability to read the game, making him a dynamic recruit for the club.

While the 18-year-old can play on the wing, he will prove most valuable around the goals and could have an impact for Melbourne in 2021.

Pick No.34 – Fraser Rosman

With pick No.34, Melbourne has landed a versatile 194cm wingman, Fraser Rosman.

Drafted from the Sandringham Dragons, Rosman is an incredible athlete who provides some genuine X-factor on the field.

The 18-year-old takes a strong overhead mark and has a damaging left foot, making him a difficult match-up for the opposition.

Pick Swap with Hawthorn

Melbourne has traded pick No.46 and its 2021 Fourth Round pick to the Hawks for their 2021 Third Round pick.
