Casey’s VFLW side has listed its team to take on Collingwood in a do-or-die elimination final on Sunday at Casey Fields.

The Demons have made five changes to the side that narrowly went down to the undefeated Essendon in the final round by a goal.

Following a week off to prepare for the gruelling VFLW finals series, Casey has seen some familiar faces return for the elimination final.

Reliable defender Rebecca Grant is a welcome inclusion to the back five for Sunday alongside strong midfielder Alison Dowler.

Lucy Wales returns to the ruck after twin sister Stephanie filled the void against Essendon, while pressure forward Brooke Borchard has been rewarded for a fine season with a spot in the finals side.

Zoe Mitchell is also named to play for Casey on Sunday as Casey looks to its incredible depth to register a finals win.

Unfortunately captain Sammie Johnson won’t pull on the red and blue on Sunday, meaning vice-captain Ally Kirkwood will lead the team in the elimination final.

Melbourne AFLW-listed players Alison Brown, Shelley Heath and Megan Fitzsimon are unfortunately all out with pre-season about to begin, while Isabella Simmons won’t play for Casey on Sunday.

For fans who can’t get down to Casey Fields for the clash, they can live stream the match on VFLW TV or the AFL website from the first bounce at 11.35AM.
