One of the auction items will be the chance to feature as our Junior Mascot in our first AFL home game of 2022

MELBOURNE’S Major Auction is back, with a host of quality items and experiences on offer.

This year’s edition, which embraces the Demons’ drought-breaking AFL Premiership victory, opened on Monday morning and will run for the next two weeks.

Signed memorabilia and merchandise from the 2021 season will headline the auction’s offerings, while opportunities like taking the Premiership Cup to work for a day are already proving to be hugely popular among the Melbourne faithful.

The second-most sought-after cup in the AFL, being the No.1 #PositiveLingers Keep Cup, is also collecting some early bids, having been donated by the Gus and Gawny podcast, presented by Zurich.

The club has made sure to cater to its younger fans, with the chance to run out alongside the team for the Demons’ first AFL home game in 2022 up for grabs, as well as supporters who are keen on winning a spot at this year’s AFL Draft table.

The auction, which will run until 12pm (AEDT) on October 22, features plenty more unique experiences and products, with bids also going into the draw to win a $250 New Balance voucher.

All funds raised through the auction will go towards supporting Melbourne’s high-performance program and community-based initiatives.
