Expressions of Interest – Future MFC Board and Board Committees

A key factor in the ongoing success of the Melbourne Football Club is to ensure it has the best possible people governing the Club. The MFC Board has implemented best practice processes to identify suitably qualified members to fill Board and Board committee vacancies as they arise.

The current Board Committees are:

- Audit, Risk and Integrity Committee
- People, Culture, Nominations and Remuneration Committee
- Investment Committee
- High Performance Committee
- Member Engagement Committee

The Board has delegated responsibility to the People, Culture, Nominations & Remuneration Committee to:

1. Monitor the skills and capability requirements for board, committees and working groups; and
2. Assess and recommend the suitability and skills of prospective board, committee and working group candidates where vacancies exist.

Future MFC Board Director

MFC directors have many responsibilities in performing their role. The key responsibilities are listed in the MFC Board Charter.

The MFC Board regularly assesses the needs of the Club, the required mix of skills and experience, and the values and behaviours expected of directors. Please refer to these requirements before considering whether to submit an expression of interest.

Committees and Working Groups

Board Directors sit on designated Board Committees. From time to time, Committees and Working Groups identify additional skill requirements and co-opt Committee members to meet these requirements.

Expressions of Interest

If you believe you can make a contribution to the Melbourne Football Club as a Future MFC Board Director and/or as a Committee or Working Group member, please submit an expression of interest here.

Expressions of interest will be considered by the MFC People, Culture, Nominations and Remuneration Committee. If you are applying for a Future Board Director position, please note this expression of interest process is separate to the director election process under the Club Constitution.
