VFL Women’s finals set to start

THE first week of the Swisse VFL Women’s finals starts on Sunday with two finals set to be played at Piranha Park, Coburg.

At 11am, Melbourne University and St Kilda Sharks will play in an elimination final.

Following that, Darebin and Diamond Creek will clash in a qualifying final at 1pm.  

Several Melbourne-listed players will feature on the day.

They include Meg Downie and Kate Hore (St Kilda Sharks) in the elimination final.

Mel Hickey, Elise O’Dea, Karen Paxman, Daisy Pearce and Lauren Pearce (Darebin) and Laura Duryea (Diamond Creek) will play in the qualifying final.
