MELBOURNE is proud to announce a new partnership with The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill, which is the club’s new Official Venue Partner.

The partnership provides an opportunity for The Sporting Globe venues all over Australia to host Melbourne supporters on match day and to also offer Melbourne members exclusive discounts all-year round.

The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill CEO James Sinclair said: “The timing of this partnership couldn't be better. The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill is now Australia's fasting growing sporting hospitality brand. We are delighted to support Melbourne Football Club and its talented young list.”

“To celebrate the new partnership, Melbourne members will have access to an exclusive The Sporting Globe offer. Melbourne fans who present their membership card will be recognised with a 20 per cent discount off purchases made over $20.

“This means members can stop by pre or post-match and enjoy wings, a cold drink and parma, while getting a great discount.”

The Sporting Globe has nine venues across Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia and continues to grow.

Melbourne’s Chief Commercial Officer George de Crespigny said: “With The Sporting Globe’s growing presence in Victoria and interstate, we think that the partnership allows Melbourne fans a perfect place to watch home and away games live with other supporters.”

“With an excellent menu and a variety of beverages on tap, the 20 per cent discount is appealing for families and mates looking to enjoy the game.”

The partnership announcement comes off the back of The Sporting Globe’s existing relationship with David Neitz and his ‘Brewmanity’ campaign, helping raise money for Cure for MND Foundation.

Sinclair believes the partnership can further drive fundraising efforts and continue to support Neale Daniher’s fight against MND. Neitz's ‘Social Beast’ beer will be available at The Sporting Globe locations, with a portion of sales going to the foundation.

“We are passionate about supporting this worthy cause,” Sinclair said.

For MCG home games, Melbourne encourages supporters to head to The Sporting Globe’s Richmond Venue (288 Bridge Road) for a pre-game meal and drink.

“We look forward to hosting the club and its fans in a ‘home game’ atmosphere at all of our venues across Australia, especially when the Dees are on the road,” Sinclair said.

From NFL, Soccer, Cricket and even UFC, Sporting Globe has you covered for live sport. Melbourne encourages you to head in, show your membership and enjoy their venues all year round.
