The 22-year-old played for Footscray in the VFL this year and was part of its premiership win over Casey Scorpions (Melbourne’s affiliate). He played four games for Footscray in 2015 and 14 this year. A spectacular mark, Hannan, who is originally from Gisborne, was best-on-ground in St Bernards 2015 premiership. The midfielder/forward didn’t make the Calder Cannons squad, but grew 14cm after under 18s. He is now 189cm. Possessing speed, power and endurance, Hannan was a cross-country runner when he was younger. He is now an architect.
