MELBOURNE has delisted utility Luke Tapscott, as all AFL clubs announced their first list lodgement on Friday.

Tapscott, 23, played 48 matches for the Demons from 2011-14.

He played 15 matches in 2011, 14 in 2012, 16 in 2013 and three in 2014.

Drafted at No.18 in the 2009 NAB AFL Draft, he was recruited from Orroroo/North Adelaide.

A hard-at-it player with a penetrating kick, Tapscott spent time in attack, the midfield and down back.

Injuries interrupted his time at Melbourne, after he came to the club having been a fine junior player in South Australia.
