Sam Blease:
Sam played to his strengths. He attempted to take the game on with his speed and evasive skills. He collected 27 disposals, which was a good effort. We are continuing to work with him on his defensive efforts to compliment his offensive game.

Mitch Clisby: Mitch was playing some good football when he got a knock late in the game. Until that point he won 15 possessions and provided some drive from half-back.

Tom Couch: Tom's numbers were again quite high. He had 27 disposals, 10 Inside 50s and kicked a goal, which was a solid contribution. Tom was part of the midfield, which had a tough battle with the Port players, particularly around the stoppages.

Aaron Davey: Aaron had a good first half of footy. As expected, he used the ball well by hand and foot, and played half-forward and on the wing. Aaron finished with 21 disposals and six marks for the game.

Troy Davis: Troy worked tirelessly for the entire game and led the team again with his spoils, while also winning a lot of the ball. His 20 disposals from the last line of defence was a good effort.

Chris Dawes: Chris had 13 disposals, seven marks and kicked 3.1. He played the majority of the game this week and his attack on the ball, particularly when outnumbered was really important. Chris ran out the game strongly.

Jack Fitzpatrick: Jack has now played three really good consecutive games. He is working hard as a key forward and as the second ruck. He had 13 disposals, seven marks, 23 hit outs and kicked 3.2 for the game, which was a very good contribution.

Tom Gillies: Tom went off early with a slight hamstring strain.

James Magner: Jimmy once again led the team with his possession count. He had 32 disposals, nine hardball gets and six tackles. He had a tough battle with the Port midfielders as they were equally combative around the stoppages.

David Rodan: David provided some of the best highlights of the game with a couple of elite goals directly from stoppage. His strength to break the tackles and kick the goals was very good. David had 19 disposals, seven inside 50s and four tackles for the game.

James Sellar: James missed the previous game due to illness and lost a number of kgs as a result. He showed he had recovered well playing in defence and had a real presence taking six strong marks. He helped set up a lot the team's movement with his composure and clean skills.

Rory Taggert: Rory was given a defensive role on one of Port’s prime defenders. He was relatively effective and will learn from the experience. He could have finished with a couple of goals however missed both chances. Rory had eight possessions.

Jimmy Toumpas: Jimmy played a very good game. He had 26 disposals and took 10 marks. He also kicked a goal from the wing. He will gain enormous confidence from this effort. He covered the ground well and ran out the game strongly.

Josh Tynan: Josh played in defence and used the ball effectively which was pleasing however he had only the eight disposals for the game.

Dom Barry: Dom played in the Development game on the wing and is still learning to use his speed and endurance more effectively. Overall, it was a quiet game from Dom.
