MELBOURNE recruit Dean Terlich has sent a scare through the Demons camp after suffering a knock to the neck and head region during training at Moorabbin Oval on Friday morning.

Terlich was taken to hospital by ambulance to have tests as a precautionary measure and remained conscious through the ordeal.

The club confirmed to AFL.com.au the scans gave the all-clear, saying he would be released from hospital on Friday evening.

The 23-year-old was selected by the Demons with pick No. 68 in the 2012 NAB AFL Draft.
