FIRST-YEAR speedster Charlie Spargo has been nominated for the round 18 Coates Hire Goal of the Year for his third quarter snap against the Cats.

Spargo managed to evade Geelong’s Tom Stewart and slot through a superb dribbled goal from the forward pocket.

The 19-year-old has been nominated for round 18 alongside Essendon’s David Myers and St Kilda’s Jack Steven.
