DEFENDER James Frawley will miss up to a month after he suffered a hamstring injury during last Saturday’s 122-point loss to North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.

General manager of football operations Josh Mahoney confirmed Frawley would be sidelined for at least the next three rounds.

“James Frawley had scans today after he hurt his hamstring during the game against the Kangaroos on the weekend,” he said.

“Scans showed some minor damage in his hamstring and he’ll now go into the hamstring program and we expect him to miss three or four weeks.”

Midfielder Michael Evans will miss another three matches, but ruckman Mark Jamar is now only two weeks from resuming. Both have foot injuries.

Rookie Tom Couch will be sidelined for another two weeks with a hamstring injury.

Key forward Mitch Clark will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury.

Leaders Colin Garland (ankle) and Jordie McKenzie (concussion) will face fitness tests.

Veteran David Rodan and tall James Sellar are also 50/50 to play this weekend, due to hamstring problems. Utility Rohan Bail (knee) is also in the mix to return.

Rookie Nathan Stark could also resume in the VFL from an ankle injury.
