Lachie Hunter, Marty Hore and Ben Brown have been named on the Melbourne emergency list for the match.

As two of the oldest clubs in the VFL/AFL history, Melbourne and Geelong have developed a rivalry throughout the years, most recently facing each other in nail-biting finals across 2018 and 2021.

With both sides currently sitting in the top four on the AFL ladder, Saturday night’s game is setting up to be a blockbuster battle.

Dees fans will be excited to head to the MCG for the Cats clash, having played down the highway at GMHBA Stadium for the previous three home-and-away matchups.

Supporters can purchase tickets here, with junior tickets just $5.
