MELBOURNE has re-signed utility Rohan Bail, midfielder Aidan Riley and defender Dean Terlich.

Bail, who played his best match of the season against the West Coast Eagles at Patersons Stadium in round 22, has also produced his finest year, missing just one match in round 21.

The hard-running utility has played 20 of his 64 matches in 2014, after making his AFL debut in round 19, 2009 against North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.

Drafted from Mt Gravatt in the 2008 NAB AFL Draft at No.64, Bail has overcome several injuries along his journey and persisted to become a regular this year.

Riley has played eight matches in his first season with the Demons, after notching up 12 games with the Adelaide Crows from 2011-13.

The hard-at-it midfielder entered the season on the back of a limited pre-season, given he broke his leg playing for the Crows against the Eagles in round 15 last year.

He joined the club as a delisted free agent last year.

Terlich, a tenacious rebounder, has played 35 matches for the club, including 15 this year.

Originally a Sydney Swans rookie in 2008, Terlich was claimed by the Demons at No.68 in the 2012 NAB AFL Draft, after starring with Norwood in the SANFL.

In his first season with Melbourne last year, Terlich finished third in Melbourne’s best and fairest.
