MELBOURNE has added Cameron Pedersen, Jay Kennedy Harris, Tomas Bugg and Josh Wagner to its squad for Sunday’s clash against GWS Giants at the MCG.

The four players have been named on an extended interchange, along with Charlie Spargo, Dom Tyson, Dean Kent and Mitch Hannan.

No changes have been made at this stage, with the final team to be named on Friday evening.

Pedersen and Kennedy Harris were the travelling emergencies for last Sunday’s outstanding 17-point win over the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium.

Wagner hasn’t played since round five, while Bugg hasn’t featured since round four. Both have been in strong form at Casey.

Melbourne’s 13th win of the season last round secured the red and blue a place in this year’s finals series – for the first time since 2006.

The Demons could finish anywhere from fourth to eighth on the ladder, depending on whether they win or lose, and with other results.

This will be the first time Melbourne plays GWS this year.
