MELBOURNE’S round 17 match against St Kilda at the MCG marked the annual City of Casey Round.

The round celebrates the club’s partnership with the City of Casey and featured a range of activations.

For locals commuting to the game, Melbourne and the City of Casey organized the ‘Dee Train’, which left Pakenham Station at 1.13pm on the day of the game.

The Dee Train featured a strong Melbourne presence, including Checker the mascot, face-painters, a balloon artist and a bugler, who played at each stop on the line.

Children from the City of Casey also featured pre-game, lining up in the Guard of Honour as the players ran out onto the ground.

As part of the round, City of Casey residents were able to secure free family tickets to the game through a special offer.

The City of Casey Round is a key part of the Melbourne Football Club’s 30-year agreement with the City of Casey.
