COLLINGWOOD'S Steele Sidebottom is facing a three-match suspension, while Greater Western Sydney's Jeremy Cameron has been offered a one-match ban, after the Match Review Panel's scrutiny of round 11.

But Sydney Swans star Adam Goodes, North Melbourne veteran Brent Harvey and Essendon midfielder Heath Hocking, who were all involved in high contact incidents, have been cleared.

The high bump that Goodes landed on Geelong skipper Joel Selwood at the SCG on Thursday night attracted the MRP's attention.

Goodes had both feet off the ground and collected Selwood in the head but the panel found that "Goodes jumps in an attempt to contest the ball and braces for contact.

"Contact is made. It was the view of the panel the contact made was below that required to constitute a reportable offence."

The panel found that Harvey's open hand to the jaw of West Coast tagger Scott Selwood was "below that required to constitute a reportable offence".

And it decided the high contact Hocking made with Richmond youngster Ben Lennon was unavoidable.

"Hocking was contesting the ball and had no realistic alternative way to contest the ball," read the MRP's statement.

The report laid against Carlton's Chris Yarran for striking Brisbane Lion Pearce Hanley was thrown out.

The incidents involving Sidebottom, Cameron and Schulz were not viewed in such a positive light.

Sidebottom was reported shortly after the opening bounce of Friday night's clash with St Kilda.

He had charged off the wing and collected Saints midfielder Mav Weller, who had the ball, with an elbow to the head.

Weller was concussed in the incident and had to be subbed out of the game.

The panel graded the incident as reckless, high impact and high contact. The initial penalty was a four-match suspension but he can have it reduced to three if he pleads guilty.

Cameron was reported during the second quarter of the Giants' loss to Hawthorn at the MCG on Sunday.

He had charged off the front edge of the centre square and crudely made front-on contact with Hawthorn's Jaryd Roughead, although Roughead was not injured and was able to play out the match.

The incident was assessed as negligent, low impact and high contact.

Cameron's carryover points pushed the penalty out to a two-game ban, although he can reduce it to one match by pleading guilty.

Port Adelaide forward Jay Schulz was also cited for striking Melbourne midfielder Neville Jetta during the final quarter of the Power's win in Alice Springs on Saturday but he can escape with a reprimand.
