“It’s a really big three weeks coming up against three top four teams – Footscray, Box Hill and Port Melbourne. We need to be at our best and we need to be as organised as we can be. We see this next block of games as being a really good opportunity for us. We’ll get some players back from injury, which enables us to be able us to put out some strong mature bodies each week. Our players have really embraced what we’ve needed to do over the past month – after bottoming out against the Northern Blues. And we’ve since been able to invest and drive some really high standards. We’ve been able to string three games together.” – Justin Plapp
