JAYDEN Hunt is hoping the sale of his pink headband, which he wore against Hawthorn in last Sunday’s clash at the MCG, will raise “as much money as possible” for Breast Cancer Network Australia.

Hunt’s headband is being auctioned off until Friday, May 12.

“They’re also auctioning off the match worn jumpers as well,” Hunt told melbournefc.com.au.

“I had a bet with [football administration manager] Mallory [Smith] about which one would get more – my headband or jumper, but I reckon it’ll be the headband, because it’s a one-off piece and you’ll never be able to get it again.

“Either way, we need to raise as much money as possible for all of the jumpers and the headband, which would be great.”

Hunt said he wanted to play a part in raising funds for the great cause.

“Me and the club came up with an idea to get a pink headband sorted, because it was the Pink Lady Match,” he said.

“We wanted to see it off after the game, with all proceeds going to BCNA.

“It was just an opportunity to help out a little bit for a great cause, because it affects way too many families in Australia and the impact is devastating. It’s just a small little way that we can help the BCNA.”
