JACK Hutchins and Darcy Guttridge are this week's King Gee Trademark Players of the Week for the Casey Demons.

In the VFLW, Damien Keeping praised Guttridge for her consistent effort throughout 2018.

"Throughout the season Darcy has shown significant growth both on and off field," Keeping said.

"Her ability to read the play and to come off her opponent to intercept across half back has been a highlight right throughout the season.

"Darcy’s ability to drive the team into attack has proven to be a real asset.

"Off field Darcy provides her team mates with a living example of the standards we look to make habits and has this week been recognised for not only an outstanding on field performance against Melbourne University on the weekend but for the contribution she has made to team outcomes right across the season."

In the VFL, Jade Rawlings has named skipper Jack Hutchins for his match-winning role against Sandringham.

"Jack played a tremendous game down back against Sandringham. He saved the team several goals against and also rebounded the ball with poise and skill," Rawlings said.

"Jack has been putting a lot of time into his game, with his defensive coach Sam Radford. This work is transferring into his games over the past three weeks.

"He is a highly respected figure at our club with his positivity, care for others and his competitiveness being key features to his leadership."

Hutchins and Guttridge will each receive a $150 King Gee voucher.
