THE AFL wishes to advise there will be formal Anzac Day observance ceremonies at each round four match played on Saturday April 25 in Wellington, Melbourne Canberra, Adelaide and Perth, along with the match in Brisbane on Sunday April 26 (only AFL match in that state for the round).

Any media seeking the formal pre-match run sheet for any of these matches need only contact the AFL by return email for timing details of The Ode, Last Post, Minute Silence and Rouse, before the playing of the anthem.

The Richmond v Melbourne match at the MCG on Friday night will feature a flame-lighting ceremony in the pre-match period but the Victorian-based games for Richmond/Melbourne, Geelong Cats/North Melbourne and Western Bulldogs/Adelaide Crows games will not feature full observance ceremonies, as that will be held during the Saturday MCG match between Essendon and Collingwood.
