THE MELBOURNE Football Club was saddened to hear of the passing of Geoff Swan, a stalwart of the Club over many decades following distinguished wartime service. Made a Life Member in 1971, Geoff was a loyal servant in his role as Chairman of the Social Committee, a member of the Club Committee, and a dedicated servant of the Club from his first association in 1950, including serving as the team manager in 1964. Father of past player Glenn, and much loved by all, he will forever remain an integral part of our story and heritage. We offer our most sincere condolences to the Swan family at this difficult time.
