THREE Demons have earned All Australian squad nominations, with both Tyla Hanks and Maeve Chaplin on the cusp of their first team selections.
Captain Kate Hore joins Hanks and Chaplin in the squad, vying for her fourth All Australian selection.
Hanks and Hore finished sixth and seventh respectively in AFL Coaches Association voting , separated by just three votes.
The Melbourne skipper has kicked 18 goals from 12 matches in 2025, the second-highest goal-per-game average of her nine season AFLW career.
Hore has also averaged the most disposals of her career, spending more time at centre bounces and through the midfield as she adds dominant midfielder to her extensive resume.
Vice-captain Hanks has been named to the extended All Australian squad on three occasions previously and will be hoping to break through for her maiden selection.
Hanks stood out in 2025, with her smooth-moving class matched only by her grunt around the contest, sitting among the game’s elite for both disposals and tackles.
Maeve Chaplin has continued her steady rise after being the only Demon named in the 2024 extended squad.
Chaplin has been dynamic in defence, with her 17.9 disposals and 5.3 rebounds 50s coming at an elite 72.6 per cent disposal efficiency.
