NARRM has made a change to its Round 11 team, ruling Tom McDonald out of Saturday afternoon’s match against Fremantle.

The key forward will miss the game due to an ankle concern, with GM of AFL Football Performance Alan Richardson confirming the news on Friday.

"Tom has some ankle soreness, which meant he wasn’t able to get through our final training session this morning," GM of AFL Football Performance Alan Richardson told Narrm Media.

"We will monitor Tom over the next few days, but at this stage, we’re hopeful he will be available next week.”

Sam Weideman has been named as McDonald’s replacement in the Demons’ starting 22, with Mitch Brown joining the side’s emergency list.

Narrm will host the Dockers at the MCG from 4.35pm on Saturday night, for what is the second week of Sir Doug Nicholls Round.

For the duration of Sir Doug Nicholls Round, the Melbourne Football Club will be rebranded and referred to as the Narrm Football Club.
