Braydon Preuss made the move from North Melbourne at the end of the 2017 season, joining the Demons to work under ruckman Max Gawn.
In Round 4, Preuss made his red and blue debut, impressing as a forward with two goals against the Swans.
Unfortunately, Preuss had a reoccurring shoulder injury which hampered him at times, but his improvement throughout the year was notable.
While Preuss and Gawn didn’t get going as a ruck combination, the new Demon dominated at VFL level and is still developing his football craft.
With a wicked sense of humour, Preuss grew up playing rugby and will continue to grow in the AFL over the coming years.
