CASEY will look to improve on its start to the VFLW season on Saturday when it takes on North Melbourne at Casey Fields from 1.30pm.
The Demons' poor first quarter last week meant that they were always chasing Essendon for the remainder of the match.
The Roos are in a similar position as the Dees, with a loss and a win for the season so far, with the latter coming last week when they overran the Bulldogs in the second half.
Casey will enjoy some added class in the engine room with Chantel Emonson returning to the VFLW, and will be looking to impress to claim her spot back in the AFLW side.
Defender Meg Downie has also been named for her first match since injuring her ankle in a practice game prior to the AFLW season. She'll get some game time under her belt before setting her sights on a return for Melbourne.
An early lead for this clash will be all-important as the rain is expected to settle in just after quarter time.
