In another moving day down at Casey Fields, the annual Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) fundraiser was held at the home of the Demons last weekend.

Before the Demons’ VFL side took on the Northern Bullants and ran away with a 91-point win, the BCNA fundraiser another highly successful day, raising significant funds for the BCNA and Breast Cancer Awareness in another triumphant instalment of the annual event.

The fundraiser has now been running for 12 years,  raising funds for breast cancer awareness this being the first partnering with BCNA and their Pink Lady.

The BCNA partnership is an extension of Melbourne Football Clubs' longstanding partnership with BCNA and the Pink Lady

The special guest speakers on the day included BCNA Director for Policy, Advocacy and Support Services Vikki Durston and an inspiring and incredibly emotional speech from breast cancer survivor Aimee Hind.

On the day, the fundraiser held silent auctions, door prizes, lucky key competitions and raffles.

All prizes were supplied by local City of Casey businesses, as well as from individual donations and club sponsors, in a display of how the Casey Demons is working to help others in the local community.

The fundraiser proved to be a highly successful day as Casey continues to support BCNA and breast cancer awareness.
