Some star power will return to Casey’s VFLW side this weekend as the Demons have made six changes ahead of its Round 12 date with Port Melbourne.

Looking to return to the winners’ list after back-to-back defeats, Casey has welcomed back high-quality players to bolster its chances against Port Melbourne.

Tahlia Fellows will slot back into the forward line following her stellar efforts last weekend in the Under-23 All Stars match against the NAB Under-18 Academy.

Fellows will be joined by AFLW Academy opponent from last week’s All Stars game in Amber Clarke, who will make her Casey debut following a run of eye-catching performances for the Dandenong Stingrays.

Clarke is named to start in the midfield, giving her an opportunity to showcase her quality after kicking two goals and being one of the best afield in last week’s All Stars match.

Maeve Chaplin and Stephanie Rummel will return to strengthen the defensive group, while Katie Angelis and Chelsie Selleck will also pull on the red and blue on Saturday afternoon.

Unfortunately, six big inclusions means some players will have to make way for the Port Melbourne clash.

Tahlia Gillard and Cara McCrossan both won’t play for the Demons on Saturday but have both performed wonderfully so far in 2022.

Caitlin Conroy and Brooke Smith haven’t been selected, with the former being named an emergency, while Indiana Makai and Yasmin Duursma will also miss out in Round 12.

For fans who can’t get down to ETU Stadium for the first bounce at 2PM, they can live stream the match online via https://vflw.tv/.
