MELBOURNE’S AFL pre-season schedule has been confirmed, with the league this morning announcing the fixture for early in 2022.

The Dees will head to Marvel Stadium to face Carlton in an official practice match as part of the 2022 AAMI Community Series. The game will take place on Thursday 3 March, with kick-off scheduled for 7:20pm.

A scratch match against North Melbourne has also been locked in, set to be played in the last two weekends of February. Venue, date, time and game format for the hit-out are still to be confirmed, with clubs given the responsibility to secure details.

The two games will be preparation for the club’s Round 1 grand final rematch against the Bulldogs on Wednesday 16 March at MCG.
