Melbourne’s Premiership Celebration has just received an exciting addition to its line-up of merchandise, with a limited pre-sale of Max Gawn’s upcoming book now available for purchase on the day.

The book, titled Max Gawn Captain’s Diary, is a revealing insight into the 2021 season and tells of how, after 57 long years, Melbourne won its drought-breaking AFL Premiership.

Gawn takes us through the year, his teammates, their coaches, and the moments that led to the team’s historic finals campaign, including his goal after the siren that saw the side secure the club’s first minor premiership in 57 years.

The book details the 2021 Grand Final and how, after a tense first half, the team claimed victory, with a 74-point triumph to break a premiership drought and bring the cup home to Melbourne.

Max Gawn Captain’s Diary, which is set to be released to the wider public on Friday 10 December, will be available for purchase at the Demon Shop (from 9:00am) alongside a number of other exciting Grand Final memorabilia.

Each book sold on the day is personally signed by Gawn, but with a limited 500 copies available, fans are encouraged to get in quick to avoid missing out.
