The Melbourne Football Club’s industry-leading work experience program returns for 2012, offering 40 high school students from around Australia a unique opportunity to spend a week embedded in an AFL club.

Those who are selected to take part in the program will spend a week learning about all areas of a professional sporting club covering both the football and administration sides of the club.

This year's program will take place over two weeks, with 20 students selected to take part in each week. Students will spend four week days at the club, followed by a match day experience at a Demons home game.

The dates for this years' program are:
• Week 1: 7 – 11 May (including Friday night game at the MCG)
• Week 2: 2 – 6 July (plus Saturday afternoon game at the MCG)

Applications for the 2012 program have now closed.
All applicants (successful and unsuccessful) will be contacted by mid-April.
