Improving key-position defender who was given big jobs in 2009. Apart from playing on some of the best power forwards in the AFL, Martin had to pinch-hit in the ruck with Mark Jamar out injured for most of the season. Showing his versatility, the former Australian basketball junior also spent time in attack. Has signed with the Demons for the 2010 and 2011 seasons and is set to forge a long career.
