An impressive athlete, Martin was one of the League's biggest improvers last season. He filled the ruckman/forward role with success, averaging 17 possessions a game and finishing eighth in the best and fairest. He displayed great competitiveness and mobility around the ground and used the ball well, stepping up in the absence of No. 1 ruckman Mark Jamar. Is also capable of playing in defence.
