Put an injury interrupted 2009 behind him to stamp himself as one of the best ruckmen in the AFL in 2010. Used his imposing frame to win 643 hit-outs, a figure bettered by only Fremantle giant Aaron Sandilands (732). Led the Demons in contested marks and didn’t mind drifting forward to be a marking target. Crowned a stellar season by winning a spot on the interchange bench in the All-Australian side and was third in the best and fairest.
