The Victorian Women’s Football League’s (VWFL) 2009 season has concluded, and the Melbourne Football Club would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Darebin Falcons (Premier and Premier Reserves), Sunbury Lions (North West Conference) and Scoresby Magpies (South East Conference) for all winning their respective Grand Finals.

VWFL ambassadors - Brock McLean and Brad Green - presented the Grand Final medals to Darebin Falcons in the Premier Reserves Division last weekend, and watched a terrific game of AFL footy.  The VWFL final series, held over two weekends, was a great success and all at the Melbourne Football Club would like to extend our congratulations to all players, officials, coaches and clubs involved.   We look forward to continuing the partnership in Season 2010.
