THE 2019 Toyota AFL Premiership Fixture is set to be released at 12pm (AEDT) today, with Melbourne's full 22 game schedule to be revealed.

Ahead of the release, here are the Melbourne games that have already been locked in and confirmed by the AFL.

Round 1 - Port Adelaide at the MCG (H). Saturday, 23 March, 1.45pm (AEDT)

The AFL released the opening round fixture last Saturday night, with Melbourne scheduled to play Port Adelaide at home at the MCG.

It will be the first time since 2013 that Melbourne and Port Adelaide have played in round one. 

Round 11 - Adelaide at TIO Stadium, Darwin (H). Saturday, June 1, 7.10pm (ACST)/7.40pm (AEST)

Melbourne will play Adelaide at home in the Northern Territory for the third year running, with Darwin scheduled to host the Saturday night clash.

Melbourne won last year's encounter against Adelaide in Alice Springs by 91 points.

Round 18 - West Coast at TIO Traeger Park, Alice Springs. Sunday, July 21, 2.50pm (ACST)/3.20pm (AEST)

Melbourne will take on the reigning Premiers in Alice Springs in a Sunday afternoon clash late in the season.

West Coast has never played in Alice Springs, with their only NT match taking place in Darwin in 2015 against the Demons. 

Other AFL fixture reveals

  • Carlton will meet Richmond at the MCG in their annual season opener.
  • There will be a double header on Good Friday, with North Melbourne to meet Essendon at Marvel Stadium before West Coast hosts Port Adelaide at Optus Stadium.
  • West Coast will unfurl its fourth premiership flag against Greater Western Sydney in a primetime Saturday evening blockbuster at Optus Stadium in round two.
  • Brisbane will host Collingwood at the Gabba in a blockbuster Easter Thursday clash, which will kickstart a festival of footy where matches will be played on 10 of 11 days across the Easter and Anzac weekends.
  • Friday night footy will return to Canberra in 2019, with Greater Western Sydney set to host Hawthorn in the nation's capital in the round 21 primetime slot.
  • The Western Bulldogs will host both Brisbane and Adelaide at Mars Stadium next year as Luke Beveridge's side continues its agreement to play two home matches in Ballarat.
  • Hawthorn is set to host Carlton in Launceston next season, which will be just the second time the two clubs have met outside of Victoria. It is one of four Hawks home matches in Tasmania in 2019.
  • Lance Franklin is due to play his 300th game in a blockbuster Friday night round 10 clash between Sydney and Collingwood at the SCG, with the fixture also set to kickstart the AFL's annual Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
